Our facilities offer a timeless sense of elegance, with intimate and functional spaces crafted in a classical modern style, creating a welcoming setting where families can gather, remember, and honour their loved one.
Centrally located in mid-town Montreal, the Kane & Fetterly funeral home is easily accessible via major highways and public transportation, with convenient parking available at the rear of the building.

Kitchen & Reception Facilities

Our reception facilities come fully equipped

The fee for hosting a reception at Kane Fetterly includes using the reception hall, a fully-equipped kitchen and audio-video equipment for 3 hours.

Also includes:
  • Supervising staff
  • Linens for tables
  • Starbucks coffee
  • Bigelow tea
  • Hot chocolate
  • Filtered water
  • Filtered ice
  • Paper cups for coffee and tea
  • Milk and cream
  • Stir sticks and sugar

Use our family kitchen

Our fully equipped kitchen is available for caterers or for families who prefer to bring their own food. It features a double oven, microwave, cooktop, refrigerator, freezer, and plenty of counter space—everything you need to prepare and serve comforting meals with ease.

Food and menus

We offer a thoughtfully curated selection of menus to suit a variety of cultural traditions and personal tastes. Families are also welcome to bring their own food or work with a caterer of their choice. Serving staff is extra.
Catering menus are available upon request.

Our Amenities

Hold a reception before or after a gathering, visitation, memorial service or funeral. You can choose a reception even if you forego a service.

Children’s Corner

A space for young family members

At Kane Fetterly, we know that children are an important part of family life, even during times of loss. To help them feel safe, included, and at ease, we’ve created a warm and inviting children’s corner. Here, young ones can quietly play, express themselves on a giant chalkboard, read books, or enjoy a movie while surrounded by a comforting environment. We recommend that a family member stay close to supervise.

Webcast and Two-Way Live Participation

Family & friends from afar can attend

At Kane Fetterly, we offer families the possibility to include loved ones who cannot be physically present. Our webcast and remote participation services ensure that distance is no barrier to being part of the ceremony.

Webcast Service

Our webcasting service allows family members and friends to watch the service live from anywhere in the world. Through a secure, easy-to-access link, viewers can follow the ceremony in real time and feel connected despite the distance.

Two-Way Live Participation Service

For those who wish to be more than viewers, our two-way live participation service via Zoom provides an interactive experience. Participants can see what is happening in the room, speak with the family through our audio-video system, and share memories during the ceremony. This option enables meaningful involvement and helps bring everyone together, wherever they may be.

Our goal is to ensure that every person who matters can be included in the ceremony—whether they are nearby or halfway around the globe.
